Yiruma Live In Singapore 2017 and Itacho Sushi. Therapeutic music, comforting Japanese food.

yiruma concert singapore

Was at The Star Vista/Theatre two weeks ago for Yiruma Live in Singapore 2017 concert. I was so happy to finally get the chance to watch his performance ‘cos I missed it in 2015. Thanks to Hubby this time – he managed to get tickets very early.

Nothing over the top – no special effects or the like – it was just pure listening pleasure to an excellent roundup of piano songs by a very talented composer and pianist. We were tickled by Yiruma’s sense of humour. He didn’t just play the piano but also interacted with all of us and later on surprised us with some interesting segments in which he composed a new musical piece with a lady from the audience and also played alongside a violinist and a guitarist. I could hear the sounds of soft crying in the audience. I held back my tears. All in all, it was a touching performance – very therapeutic too. The whole experience was just beyond words.

This is my third time blogging about Itacho Sushi and I’m still not sick of it, lol. In fact, I’ve visited Itacho Sushi like 4 times(?) in the last 2 months and I’m still having cravings for its scrumptious food. ?

We had dinner at Itacho Sushi at The Star Vista before going for the Yiruma concert. First time dining at that outlet which turned out to be as good as our experience at the Bedok Mall outlet.

Below pictures were taken at the Bedok Mall outlet which we frequent the most. Well I’m not going to go into the details of how good each and every dish is. If you want to read detailed reviews, check out my earlier posts as follows:

I just want to share pictures of these yummy dishes that we don’t seem to be sick of (yet), lol.
