Grilled Spiced Pork Chops Recipe

The husband commented recently that I have been making western food quite regularly these days though I am more of an Asian food person, haha. Not that he’s complaining since he eats whatever I cook. But I’m also very thankful ‘cos he’s my most supportive guinea pig for each and every of my kitchen experiment even if I churn out a disaster. ?

Anyway, I’m just trying to expand my recipe book to include different types of food from various cultures and regions. Always thinking of ways to marry some of these and create new recipe ideas too.

Well, not today though as I felt like playing around with my spices. Time to use them up as spices tend to lose their fragrance if kept too long.

Grilled Spiced Pork Chops Recipe

Bought some lovely bone-in pork chops from the supermarket and decided to make a spice rub for them.

We loved the aromatics-infused flavour of the pork chops especially the distinctive taste of the cumin which wasn’t too overpowering.

I could serve these pork chops with a salsa as its tanginess would pair well with the meat but in the end, I just kept the sides clean and simple so had them with steamed pumpkin and whole corn cobs instead.

Pretty much a low carb meal. ??
