Oyster Sauce Chicken with Onions Recipe

I really enjoy making this dish because the fragrance of the sauce would just fill the kitchen with what I call pure bliss as the chicken cooks in the pan. The killer gravy is a symphony of flavours – sweet, salty & savoury with a hint of spiciness from the fresh red chilli – that’s exactly what Chinese cooking is all about. I suggest to serve this dish with steamed rice so you can drizzle the sauce over the rice.ย Bon appetit!

Oh, this looks nice as well.

Btw, it’s very strange but I often don’t receive your posts on my WP reader and when I do, I don’t seem to be able to like/comment :-(.

Maybe that is because you’re self hosting? I added your blog to my RSS feed (which should be linked to WP) and when I go directly to your website, I show up automatically as a WP user…. ie I am now confused…

(I do try to visit directly your website now and than to catch up,but don’t always have time for it… ..)

Thanks dear! Yep, my blog is on a self hosted server so that’s how my posts will appear on the WP reader. I’ve checked with the WP team before regarding this and apparently, it’s not possible to like/comment via the reader which doesn’t make sense because you can still do it when you go to my website directly. I guess that’s a ‘bonus feature’ for those who’s still on wordpress.com lol

I did contemplate going to self host now I’ve been blogging some time but so far WP seems to work for me. I’m pretty much social media ignorant as well… keeping it like I have is easier.

But I do think WP could be more userfriendly for self hosted bloggers like you. As said, quite often posts won’t appear in my reader at all! Very odd and frustrating…

Same here. I’m a social media late bloomer haha. And my husband does the backend work (he’s a developer and software engineer so he likes to do such stuffs) for my website so when he suggested to move to a self hosted server, I thought it would be a great idea to have more flexibility with the platform. There are pros and cons definitely but if you think WP works fine for you, then yep perhaps it’s better to stick with it ๐Ÿ™‚
