Spicy Sweet Hotdog and French Fries

I was inspired to make this dish at home because of a previous bad experience when I ordered a similar dish from a mixed rice stall in my neighbourhood. The hotdogs and french fries were all deep fried in oil – very crispy but the fries were oozing oil with every bite which became quite repulsive.

Even though I chose to bake the hotdogs and french fries in the oven to reduce the grease in my recipe, I wouldn’t say this is a healthy dish because both hotdogs and french fries are processed foods that we shouldn’t consume too much as they are high in saturated fats with little nutritional value. But anyway, I love my junk food once in a while.

For a healthier alternative, try baking your own potato wedges or fries and make chicken meatballs to go with them but use the same sauce to stir fry both together. Hmm, now I have another new idea to try, lol. 🙂
