Amorino Gelato Brussels: The Pretty Rose Gelato You Need to Try

So there we were, done with sightseeing for the day. It was already drizzling, and we were planning to just walk back to our hotel and call it a day. Then I spotted Amorino Gelato on the way and honestly, couldn’t resist grabbing some gelato to eat.

Amorino Gelato Brussels

What is Amorino Gelato?

Amorino Gelato is a French gelato chain with more than 300 outlets worldwide. But here’s the sad part – not in Singapore yet. Really hoping they’ll open here someday because this place is something else.

The Flavour Selection Struggle is Real

Walking in, I was immediately hit with the usual gelato place dilemma. So many flavours. Spoilt for choice. Genuinely hard to decide which ones to go for.

Good thing is, you can try the flavours before deciding. The staff were very friendly and super happy to assist you with samples.

More Than Just Gelato

Besides gelato, Amorino also has other treats like:

  • Macarons
  • Waffles
  • Crepes

You can enjoy your gelato in a cup or have it in a cone.

We Went for the Groot Grand Cone

We decided on the Groot Grand (€6.60), which is the large cone option. Now here’s where Amorino Gelato gets interesting.

The Famous Rose-Shaped Gelato

The gelato on top is shaped like a rose. This is what Amorino Gelato is famous for. We let the staff fit as many flavours as he could on the cone, and he used a spatula to form each petal for the flower.

So pretty. Too bad I didn’t manage to take more photos of it because the rain started getting heavier and we had to speed walk back. There was nowhere to take shelter around.

How Does Amorino Gelato Taste?

The gelato? Very creamy and rich but not overly sweet. Absolutely delicious. Each flavour was distinct and smooth.

The cone was very crispy and fragrant too, which made the whole experience even better.

Final Thoughts on Amorino Gelato

Must try when you come to Brussels. Seriously. Amorino Gelato isn’t just about pretty presentation – the quality is there. The rose-shaped gelato is gorgeous, the flavours are legit, and the whole experience just hits different.

Until they open in Singapore, this is one more reason to book that Europe trip.
