Back again for another June Bakery review, and honestly, I’m not even surprised at myself. Hubby and I checked into PARKROYAL on Beach Road for our third staycation, and the first thing I did after dropping our bags? Sprint over to June Bakery before the tarts sold out. If you’ve read my first June Bakery review, you’ll know I’m completely obsessed with their Strawberry Cheese Mochi Tart and Yam Paste Tart. This time, I spotted two new bakes I hadn’t tried before, so here we go.
June Bakery Review 2026: Same Prices, Same Friendly Uncle
Everything is still S$1.60 per piece, which is honestly bonkers given the quality. The uncle at the counter remains as warm and helpful as ever, packing your tarts into little plastic boxes with care. Quick heads-up: bring cash. They don’t accept anything else.
Avocado Tart – S$1.60
- Smooth, thick and creamy filling in the best possible way
- Real avocado flavour shines through — not artificial at all
- That signature tart crust: buttery, fragrant, crumbly
- Regret of the day: only buying one
Peanut Mochi – S$1.60
This one caught me off guard. Generously coated in crushed peanuts, I assumed the filling inside would be peanut too. Took a bite and — surprise! — it’s orh nee, the same silky yam paste from their famous Yam Paste Tart.
- Creamy yam paste filling
- Crunchy, nutty peanut coating
- Soft, chewy mochi skin
- Three textures in one bite — absolute winner
Final Verdict: My June Bakery Review Wrap-Up
June Bakery continues to be one of the best little gems in town for classic, no-frills treats. The tarts are brilliant, the mochi is a must-try, and the prices haven’t budged. I’ll definitely be back — next time, buying two of everything.
