Udders Singapore – Local Artisanal Ice Cream Brand Still Going Strong

Used to patronise the Udders outlet at Thomson Road almost every week when I was working in the vicinity. And now whenever I come to United Square, I would still stop by Udders for an ice cream treat or specifically, Mao Shan Wang Durian ice cream – which is still the best durian ice cream I’ve had in Singapore. Try it if you haven’t.

Udders Singapore

Met up with C for lunch and we decided to pop by Udders to continue our girlie catch up session which normally stretches through the day, lol.

We had a Waffle (S$4) with Double Scoops Classic-Flavours Ice Cream (S$6.80) to share. Picked Thai Iced Tea (top) and Earl Grey ice cream (bottom).

Had to wait for quite some time as they only had one waffle iron but it was good that the waffle came warm with some chocolate sauce on the side.

Udders Singapore

Not the best waffle we had (still preferred Creamier‘s) as the exterior texture just wasn’t crispy enough but the taste of it was not bad. Plus point was that the ice cream flavours that we picked went really well with the waffle.

I liked both the Thai Iced Tea and Earl Grey ice creams. They were redolent of tea flavour (very aromatic) and were milky, creamy and not too sweet.

If tea-type ice creams aren’t to your fancy, you can of course take your pick from their range of almost 30 different flavours. Sample first and see if you like it before deciding.

For their full list of ice cream flavours, click here. Do note the last order of waffles is 30 minutes before closing time.

Overall, it was a satisfying treat that we could have it again. ???
