Garlic Bread Recipe – Deliciously buttery and fragrant

Huh? Garlic bread? Yep! You’re probably wondering why I would bother to share a garlic bread recipe. It’s something so simple, anyone can just make it at home without referring to any recipe.

There are really no hard-and-fast rules to making delicious garlic bread. It’s all about that garlic butter spread you put on the bread – how garlicky you want it to be or if you prefer salted to non-salted butter. To me, I think the type of bread matters too. And I definitely recommend you to use baguette instead of the regular sandwich bread because the crust is just so crispy and moreish after baking.

Although garlic bread is a simple food, it holds a lot of significance to me as that was something I grew up eating with.

Eating garlic bread never fails to bring a smile to my face because it reminds me of lovely people and my unforgettable childhood adventures.

When I was in primary school, I wasn’t as lucky as my fellow classmates who would have lunches prepared for them when they returned home from school. I often hanged out with my neighbour who would sometimes bring me to this western food place where her mother worked at and the kind lady would always treat me to some soup and garlic bread. That was probably how I grew to love garlic bread like it was one of the most scrumptious things to eat in the world.
