Happy Boxing Day!

After a weekend of festive feasting, it’s time to detox the system with a healthy yogurt parfait recipe like this which is made up of layers of rolled oats, fruits and yogurt with various toppings.

Healthy Yogurt Parfait Recipe

You can basically use any ingredients you like. Healthy ones would of course include berries, dried fruits, granola, cornflakes, chia seeds and the like.

But if you prefer an indulgent treat and rather forget about detoxing, just go all the way out and use your favourite chocolate snacks (I would love Maltesers & Peanut M&M’s haha), ice cream, brownies, cookies, etc for your parfait treat. Yummy!

I have not included portion sizes for the ingredients in the recipe below as I simply just use whatever I have in my kitchen. It’s free-style so just design the parfait in whatever way you want and in whatever glass vessel you like. Have fun and enjoy!

Healthy Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients
plain non-fat yogurt (with no added sugar)
assorted diced fruits (kiwi, dragonfruit & plum)
rolled oats, lightly toasted in oven

Toppings:
grated coconut
roasted cashews, chopped
roasted almonds, chopped

Instructions
1. Layer the ingredients separately in a parfait glass.
2. Top with coconut, cashews and almonds. Enjoy!
