Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026: Pacific Club Room, Lounge Perks & What to Expect

We’re back at Pan Pacific Singapore, and yes, I really meant it when I said we’d return. If you’ve read my previous Pan Pacific Singapore review, you’ll know this hotel stole my heart on our first stay. So when Hubby signed up for the T100 triathlon, booking another two-night staycation here was a no-brainer. This Pan Pacific Singapore review covers everything from our room upgrade to the Pacific Club Lounge perks, the food, the quirks, and why this place still tops my list of favourite Singapore staycations.

Pan Pacific Singapore

Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026 - Main Check In Area At Lobby

The main check-in area at Pan Pacific Singapore: sleek, spacious, and welcoming.

Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026 - Lobby

The soaring atrium lobby, all lush greenery and plush seating. First impressions still land every single time.

Looking straight up into Pan Pacific Singapore’s iconic atrium. Those birdcage pendant lights are such a signature touch — dramatic in the best way.

Arrival and Check-In: Familiar Faces

Kicking off this Pan Pacific Singapore review with our arrival experience. We pulled up at the hotel drop-off around 10.45am on Saturday. The bell staff were on us in seconds, whisking our luggage away. At the front desk, I mentioned our GHA Discovery Titanium membership, and we were ushered straight to the VIP & Discovery Lounge for check-in.

Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026 - VIP & Discovery Lounge

GHA Discovery Titanium members, this is your dedicated check-in spot.

Then came the lovely surprise. The same staff member who checked us in last year was assigned to us again. Before we even handed over our IDs, she said, “Welcome back!” with a knowing smile. We had a good laugh because I remembered her too. That’s over a year between visits, and she still recognised us. That’s the kind of personal touch you can’t fake.

The welcome letter spelling out all our GHA Discovery Titanium perks: double room upgrade, early check-in, late check-out, and more.

The beautifully illustrated Pan Pacific Singapore welcome amenity box — too pretty to open, honestly. The hotel artwork on it is such a thoughtful detail.

The welcome amenity reveal: a gorgeous box of pastel macarons. The perfect sweet start to the staycation.

The Double Room Upgrade

We had originally booked the Premier Marina Bay Room (approx. S$431 per night after taxes), the same category as last time. Thanks to our GHA Discovery Titanium status, we were offered a double room upgrade to the Pacific Club Room. The catch? It hadn’t been renovated yet. The staff were upfront about it, and we appreciated that honesty. We decided to take it anyway just to experience something different. Bonus: early check-in at 11am and late check-out at 4pm. Brilliant.

Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026 - Pacific Club Room

Room 2517, the Pacific Club Room on the 25th floor. Bigger than we expected, with warm ambient lighting and a spacious layout that instantly felt like home.

Pacific Club Room: Bigger, Older, but Still Cosy

A big part of this Pan Pacific Singapore review has to focus on the room itself. We were assigned Room 2517 on the 25th floor, on the same side as the Pacific Club Lounge. This was a huge plus. Direct lift access to the 38th floor lounge, no faffing about with switching lift lobbies like last time.

A bird’s-eye view of the hotel’s circular pool, spotted from the glass-encased lift on the way up to our room.

One small gripe: the lifts are glass-encased and so brightly lit that you can barely see if your floor button is lit up. We weren’t the only ones who noticed. Two other guests in the lift made the same comment. One lady joked, “Can only see at night.” Hilarious, but also genuinely a usability issue.

Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026 - Pacific Club Room

Another angle of the Pacific Club Room, showing just how generous the space is. Bonus points for the bathtub peeking through the glass panel on the left — that’s a proper hotel bathroom right there.

The king bed in all its made-up glory. Comfortable enough, though if you’re a firm pillow person, stack two — trust me on this one.

The view from our room looking out towards Marina Bay Sands and the city skyline. That’s Mandarin Oriental in the foreground.

Walking into the room, both Hubby and I said it at the same time: this feels bigger than last time. The layout, the lack of a balcony eating into the floor space, it all worked in our favour. Wonderfully spacious.

The Honest Truth About the Wear and Tear

Now, the not-so-pretty bits. The room hasn’t been renovated and you can tell:

  • Bathroom countertop had visible stains
  • Wall tiles and floor grout looked yellowed and grubby
  • Wooden furniture had plenty of scratches, chips, and dents

The stained bathroom countertop — the most visible sign that this room hasn’t been renovated yet.

For a five-star hotel at this price point, it’s not exactly acceptable. That said, the front desk was upfront about it. Adjust your expectations and it’s manageable. The room itself was kept clean. The carpet felt fresh under bare feet, and the overall vibe was still cosy.

A spacious writing desk paired with an armchair and leg rest — ideal for getting work done, or just putting your feet up with the iPad.

The in-room bar counter with a Nespresso machine, kettle, and TWG tea.

The complimentary mini bar, replenished daily without you having to ask.

The Singapore books on the bar counter shelf — Singapore Then and Now, Agak Agak, and How to Cook Everything Singaporean. A genuinely thoughtful touch that I appreciated far more than the usual hotel pamphlets.

The wardrobe area with safe, robes, and plenty of hanging space. The safe easily fits two laptops and a tablet.

Officially in staycation mode. The Pan Pacific slippers are a small touch, but slipping these on is always the signal that the weekend has properly begun.

Room Features and Thoughtful Touches

  • Bed: Comfortable, though pillows were on the soft side. Stack two for proper neck support.
  • Wardrobe: Bi-folding doors which honestly are a pain. Sliding doors would be a serious upgrade. Safe inside fits two laptops and a tablet easily.
  • Mini bar: Complimentary and stocked with still and sparkling water, Sprite, Coke, and Tiger beer. The fridge is computerised so they replenish before 6pm without you asking.
  • Bar counter: Nespresso machine, TWG tea bags, kettle. Plus books about Singapore on the top shelf, a really nice touch.
  • Writing desk: Spacious. There’s also an armchair with a leg rest for chilling with the iPad.
  • TV: Decent size, plenty of local and international channels.

Everything you need is just a tap away. The in-room digital amenities menu lets you request items on loan straight from your phone — no need to call the front desk.

The WiFi Glitch You Need to Know About

Here’s a recurring issue worth flagging. The WiFi was patchy from the start, and around 8pm one evening, it dropped completely. The room phone was also dead, so we couldn’t even call for help. Hubby found the network cable in the desk cabinet, unplugged and replugged it, and it worked again.

We figured out the pattern: when you leave the room, the power cuts off, and the internet doesn’t reboot properly when you return. Hotel team, please look into this.

Pacific Club Room Bathroom - Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026

The bathroom is a proper treat: a single vanity, freestanding soaking tub, and a glass panel looking straight into the bedroom. Luxurious layout, even if the renovation is overdue.

The freestanding bathtub framed against the bedroom through the glass panel. Fill it up, lower the privacy blind if you want, and watch TV from the tub. Yes, really.

The rain shower with ambient lighting and Jo Loves toiletries lined up and ready.

The separate toilet area — one of those details that makes a real difference when two people are sharing a room.

Jo Loves Mango Thai Lime shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, all in generously sized pump dispensers. No fiddling with tiny bottles here.

The Jo Loves Mango Thai Lime body lotion and hand wash on the vanity counter. Divinely refreshing.

The bathroom amenity drawer: toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower cap, vanity kit.

Pan Pacific’s eco-friendly reusable glass water bottles, filled with filtered water and ready to go.

A premium filtered drinking water tap right in the bathroom.

Bathroom: A Proper Indulgence

Despite the wear, the bathroom was still a treat:

  • Separate toilet and shower area
  • Bathtub with bath salts provided
  • Jo Loves amenities in Mango Thai Lime, divinely refreshing
  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, shower caps, vanity kit (no shaving kit, sadly)
  • A genius feature: a knob to turn up the TV volume so you can watch from the bath. Want privacy? Lower the blind with the touch of a button.

The Happy Sleepers binder — quite possibly the most charming thing in the room. Open it up and you’ll find a pillow menu plus a list of complimentary bedtime treats to order.

The Happy Sleepers Programme

This was honestly one of the highlights. There’s a pink “Happy Sleepers” binder on the desk with a pillow menu and a list of complimentary bedtime treats: chamomile tea, warm milk, banana muffins, oatmeal walnut cookies, even pillow mist.

The Happy Sleepers tray: bedtime treats, TWG chamomile tea, a pot of hot water, and a small jar of honey — plus a bucket of ice we’d requested separately on the side. Delivered swiftly.

The warm milk from the Happy Sleepers programme, wrapped up and kept hot for delivery. A small detail, but the kind that makes you feel genuinely looked after.

The Happy Sleepers late-night delivery: banana muffins and oatmeal walnut cookies. Hubby had these earmarked for pre-race breakfast fuel the next morning — smart move.

On our first night, we requested everything. Chamomile tea for me, warm milk for Hubby, plus muffins and cookies for his pre-race breakfast. Delivered swiftly on a tray with a small bottle of honey, a pot of hot water, and a TWG chamomile tea bag. Genuinely thoughtful hospitality.

The snack jars on the lounge counter: muruku and potato chips.

The Pacific Club Lounge: Still the Star of the Show

If there’s one thing that deserves its own section in this Pan Pacific Singapore review, it’s the Pacific Club Lounge. The Pacific Club benefits are extensive. Here’s what you get with the upgrade:

  • Champagne breakfast at the lounge (7am-10.30am) or buffet breakfast at Edge
  • Daily afternoon tea (3-5pm)
  • Daily evening cocktails (6-8pm)
  • Complimentary in-room mini bar
  • Two hours daily use of private dining rooms (with reservation)
  • Complimentary laundry or pressing, up to 2 pieces per night
  • Lounge access from 7am to 10pm

Heads up on the dress code: smart casual during evening cocktails. No slippers, flip-flops, tank tops, swimwear, or sports gear. Pack accordingly.

Club Lounge Afternoon Tea - Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026

Afternoon tea spread. The variety is genuinely impressive for a club lounge.

More from the afternoon tea spread: char siew sou, egg tarts, fried seafood noodles, and a heirloom tomato salad. Sweet and savoury, all in one go.

Our loaded afternoon tea plates.

Afternoon tea in full session at the Pacific Club Lounge. This is the good life.

Afternoon Tea (3-5pm)

Slight disappointment first: the TWG white teas are no longer on the menu. I was looking forward to those. That said, the Vanilla Bourbon and Oolong Prestige did the job nicely.

The afternoon tea beverage menu: TWG teas, Robert Timms coffee, Bacha specialty coffee, freshly squeezed juices, and sodas.

Day 1: Chee cheong fun, egg tarts, quiche, fried bee hoon, har gow, salads, cakes, kueh, sandwiches, fruits. The scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve are a permanent feature, and they’re consistently the best thing on the table.

Day 2: Seafood fried noodles, sesame balls, dim sum, heirloom tomato salad.

Day 3: Thanks to the late check-out, we squeezed in one final tea. Curry puff, pandan chicken, spring rolls, chicken pie, fried seafood mee tai mak, siew mai.

The Chinese dim sum items? Always spot-on. Not surprising given the hotel houses Hai Tien Lo, one of Singapore’s best Cantonese restaurants.

The evening cocktails beverage menu: cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wine, bubbly, and beer, all complimentary from 6 to 8pm.

Evening Cocktails (6-8pm)

The cocktail menu has shrunk a bit, but the lounge still has a proper bar with a dedicated bartender, which is leagues above other club lounges in Singapore where staff just do basic mixers.

Club Lounge Evening Cocktails - Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026

Mocktails: the Hurricane (that stunning layered blue-to-pink stunner topped with red dragon fruit flesh) alongside the Flowers For You. The Hurricane was the clear winner — beautiful to look at and even better to drink.

Maroochy mocktail — a bright, refreshing blend of green tea, milk, macadamia, and mango. Surprisingly smooth and well-balanced for a mocktail.

Day 1 food: Fried tofu, samosa, curry, naan, fried noodles, belinjo and prawn crackers, braised beef cheek, steamed sea bass, cold cuts, cheese platter, salads, fruits. Mocktails included Hurricane (the winner, with bits of red dragon fruit flesh), Flowers For You, and Maroochy.

Club Lounge Evening Cocktails - Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026

Singapore Sling and Lychee Martini. Both very well poured — the Singapore Sling was my pick of the night, no contest.

Day 2 food: Crab meat fried rice, honey baked ham, truffle mashed potato, vegan sweet and sour. Cocktails were Singapore Sling and Lychee Martini, both very solid pours. The Singapore Sling was my pick.

Club Lounge Breakfast Menu - Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026

The Pacific Club Lounge breakfast menu, served from 7am to 10.30am. Made-to-order mains ranging from Eggs Benedict and Club French Toast to a Crab Meat Egg White Omelette — plus a wellness selection for the more virtuous among us.

Champagne Breakfast at the Lounge (7am-10.30am)

No Pan Pacific Singapore review would be complete without raving about the champagne breakfast. This is where lounge access really pays off. There’s a made-to-order menu for mains plus a small buffet spread. I had the Club French Toast: soft brioche, caramelised banana sauce, coconut mousse, berries, and nuts. Brilliant texture play. Hubby had Eggs Benedict, perfectly executed.

My Club French Toast. Easily one of the best things I ate all weekend.

Pacific Club Lounge Champagne Breakfast - Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026

Hubby’s Eggs Benedict: poached eggs and smoked salmon on toasted English muffins, finished with hollandaise sauce, and served with hash brown, garden greens, sautéed mushroom, and chicken sausage. Perfectly executed.

A plate from the lounge breakfast buffet spread.

Buffet selections included pastries, fruits, dim sum, croquettes, bacon, sausages, congee, and salad. Free-flow champagne if that’s your morning vibe. The lounge is far less crowded than Edge, and the made-to-order mains are fresh and beautifully plated.

The kaya toast and soft-boiled egg station at Edge — a proper nod to the classic Singapore breakfast.

The congee station. A comforting corner of the buffet.

Chinese breakfast spread: dough fritters, soy milk, etc.

Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026 - Edge Breakfast Buffet

The Indian breakfast station. One of the strongest sections of the Edge buffet.

The pastry counter. There’s something here for every kind of sweet tooth.

Edge Breakfast Buffet (6.30am-10.30am)

I did one breakfast at Edge for variety. Went at 8.40am and there were plenty of seats. Probably because this wasn’t peak season unlike our last stay around year-end.

The spread is massive: Western breakfast staples (bacon, hash browns, sausages), local Singaporean, Indian, Chinese, and Asian options, waffles, pancakes, pastries, salads, cold cuts, kaya toast with half-boiled eggs.

The waffle was a winner: thick, crispy outside, airy inside. Drown it in maple syrup and you’re sorted. The kaya toast wasn’t as great this time, the bread had lost its crisp. Probably sat out a bit because of the quieter crowd.

Special mention: I told the staff Hubby couldn’t join me because of his race, and asked if I could pack some pastries for him. They handed me a paper bag without hesitation. Small thing, big impact.

Pacific Emporium - Pan Pacific Singapore Review 2026

Pacific Emporium on the lobby level: deli, kitchen, bar, and gifting all under one roof. A handy stop for a quick bite, TWG tea, or a souvenir to bring home.

Location: Connected and Convenient

Pan Pacific Singapore is connected to Marina Square, just like PARKROYAL Collection Marina Bay. From the lobby level (Pacific Emporium), there’s an escalator leading to Marina Square via a sheltered indoor route. From Level 2, you can also walk outdoors to Marina Square and Millenia Walk. Easy access to shopping, food, and the rest of Marina Bay.

The hotel gym. Well-maintained and more than adequate for a serious workout

Service: The Real Reason We Keep Coming Back

I can’t wrap up this Pan Pacific Singapore review without giving a proper round of applause to the team. Service quality is consistent, warm, and personal. Many staff have impressive memories. They greeted us by surname after only brief encounters. That kind of detail makes a stay feel less transactional and more like being looked after by friends.

I witnessed two incidents during our stay where guests were genuinely rude. One Chinese tourist at the pool was loudly lecturing staff about lifeguard policies in a really condescending tone. Another guest was rude to the Edge breakfast hostess just for asking for a room number. In both cases, the staff remained calm, polite, and professional. Not a flicker of irritation. That takes serious training and even more serious patience.

Service: easy 5 out of 5 stars.

Final Verdict: Still My Top Singapore Staycation

Wrapping up this Pan Pacific Singapore review with the same conclusion as last time, only stronger. The Pacific Club Lounge remains one of the best in Singapore. The food and drinks land more hits than misses. The staff are efficient, attentive, and genuinely friendly. For the lounge alone, the Pacific Club Room price tag is justified.

The non-renovated room was a small letdown, and the WiFi situation needs sorting. But everything else was so well executed that these felt like minor blips rather than dealbreakers.

Pan Pacific Singapore is still my top favourite staycation spot in Singapore. The comfort, service, food, and overall consistency make it a hotel I genuinely look forward to returning to. Well-rounded across the board.

Keep it up, Pan Pacific Singapore. See you again in 2027. 😉
