Having half bag of frozen oysters left after making an oyster omelette earlier, I made this easy stir fried garlic oysters to complement other dishes for dinner.
Stir Fried Garlic Oysters Recipe
250g frozen shelled oysters, thawed and drained
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 chilli padi (bird’s eye chilli), sliced thinly (remove seeds if you prefer less spicy)
1 tsp garlic powder
spring onion as garnish
1. Heat a little oil in pan and saute minced garlic & chilli padi till fragrant.
2. Add oysters and garlic powder. Stir till the oysters are cooked over high heat. Season with a little salt and pepper.
I used a whole bird’s eye chilli without deseeding it and it was hot hot hot! But I love it 🙂 Not for the faint hearted. If you cannot take extra spice, please remove the chilli seeds!
