Tart Blanc @ Millenia Walk

Tart Blanc @ Millenia Walk

It’s time for tea at Tart Blanc, which is a little tart specialty cafe that serves up an array of artisanal desserts/pastries (tarts, cookies & macarons), gourmet sandwiches & wraps and fresh brews of coffee/tea.

Tart Blanc @ Millenia Walk

A cosy space with just 10 seats, this place is perfect for that leisurely afternoon tea and/or whenever you need a perk-me-up during office hours.

Look at that assortment of luscious tarts! It really took me quite a while to decide what I wanted because I could have easily ordered one of every flavour. If only sugar doesn’t make my waistline expand, lol.

Tart Blanc Cappuccino

The Cappuccino (S$4.80) was aromatic and smooth without being overly bitter or acidic.

Tart Blanc Cucumber Mint Tea

A fresh brew of Cucumber Mint Tea (S$4.80) that had the invigorating character of cucumber and mint with a subtle taste of sweet blueberries. Loved it.

Tart Blanc Blueberry Lavender Chocolate Tart

Ordered the Blueberry Lavender Chocolate Tart (S$7.50) that was filled with lavender chocolate ganache, homemade blueberry jam, lavender honey soaked joconde and blueberry mouse.

The tart shell was delicious on its own as it was very much like a hard chocolate cookie or biscuit. Definitely not the crumbly buttery kind which can be quite greasy. Overall, this tart had an excellent balance of sweetness and tang and wasn’t cloying at all too because the taste of blueberries lent a contrasting sharpness that was really welcoming.

Tart Blanc Peach & Salted Yolk Tart

Also had the Peach & Salted Yolk Tart (S$7.50) that came with slices of bruleed peaches and pistachio bits sitting atop a sour cream coffee cake with a molten salted yolk filling. This was served hot, much to my delight.

Tart Blanc Peach & Salted Yolk Tart

This tart was just like the fusion version of a liu sha bao (salted egg yolk custard bun) but with much more flair. The moment I used my fork to slice through the tart, the salted yolk filling in the middle came oozing out. The molten lava was packed with a deep flavour of salted yolk and was just as delish as it looked. The different elements of the tart filling came together really well – overall it was really really good.

Their baked goods are very ideal for gifting too. With cookie flavours like Dreamy Vanilla Spritz, Ginger Lemon, Black and White Sesame and more, there’s bound to be something for everyone. I’m already planning to buy some for Christmas this month. 🙂

The tarts from Tart Blanc were probably the most decadent tarts I’ve had in Singapore. Nothing else needs to be said. Just go try them! 🙂
